In this course wherever we use the word dealer, this could represent a reseller or a retail store for example.

Organizational hierarchies are a great way to structure a sales incentive program. Within a company there might be team of sales reps who manage different regions across a state or country, where end dealers are distributed across each region.  By splitting out dealers into regions this will allow a company to track how each region performs and give sales reps only access to data relating to their region.
