Lead

Normally a lead represents  potential customer, or existing customer. when you have a customer, you will need to make a deal with him/her. So, it seems leads are related to profiles, but they are not the same. A profile can have any number of leads associated with it.

Managing leads is one of the most important things any business needs to learn, because that’s how you help interested parties find the products they need from you.

You can’t leave sales to chance, though miracles do happen every once in a while. Most leads need to be nurtured through a dedicated cycle that will help manage a relationship, provide necessary information and support, and will answer questions to resolve doubts about the product or service you have on offer.

Depending on the lead type, source, and background, you may have a different funnel for each. You should look at your data, use your CRM, and determine how to tackle each lead on a personal, one-on-one basis in order to help them get the answers they need as soon as possible.

Funnel

Simply a funnel is a method that receives a large amount of leads that "funnel" down to identify those prospects who are ready to listen to what you have to say.  More simply, a funnel is a better sales process for a company.

To edit a funnel, click on the edit button or on the funnel name.

Properties

Inside property tab there are handful options to work with. they are,

  • Title - Simple title.
  • Leads Group - Set leads group.
  • Sources  - From where leads are coming.
  • Stages - which stages to be assigned  with leads. (hot, cold, warm etc.).
  • Extra Fields - Custom fields can be added to leads as notes.
  • Lost Reasons - Set custom reason.
  • Customer Activities - Specify the list of activities that can be added to leads as notes, eg "send documents", "give quote".
  • Funnel Testers - Profiles with a matching email domain  can have their delays processed faster, to aid with funnel testing.
Note: Funnels can also be edit with a text editor. if you want to do that, just click on Edit funnel as Text Editor. For that you need to know Json a bit.

 

When you are done. Save things by a click on Save button.

 

 

Leads

This is inside leads tab. Here you see leads came so far. Also you can Upload  leads with a CSV file. But, before that make sure you are following the standart CSV format. For this you have to download standard CSV file by exporting one.
