Reads image metadata and generates thumbnails for uploaded content. Registered as "imageManager" for use from server-side scripts, it exposes EXIF orientation, EXIF tag and GPS location lookups for a given image stream, plus a builder for generating a PNG thumbnail from an image or PDF.

Returns: int

Reads the EXIF orientation tag and returns the corresponding rotation angle.

getExifData(InputStream imageInputStream)

Returns: Map<String,Map<String,String>>

Reads all available metadata tags embedded in an image (EXIF, GPS, IPTC, etc).

getExifLocation(InputStream imageInputStream)

Returns: Map<String,Double>

Reads the GPS location embedded in an image's EXIF data, if present.

newThumbnailBuilder()

Returns: ThumbnailBuilder

Creates a new builder for generating a thumbnail from an image or PDF and saving it into content storage. Configure the returned builder with the source stream, content type, target size and output location, then call build.
