Pluggable strategy for parsing and formatting date and date-time values against one specific pattern or standard, such as an ISO format or a locale-specific numeric pattern. DateManagerV1 holds an ordered list of implementations and tries each in turn when parsing free-text input, and looks up the locale-appropriate default implementation when formatting output.
