One row in the available-updates panel: an installed app, theme or lib together with the version currently in use and the version currently published in the marketplace. Produced by AppsPageHelper's getAllAppVersions and getUpdates methods for every enabled app on an organisation or website branch, whether or not a newer version is actually available.
Properties
| Property | Returns | Description |
|---|---|---|
| app | RepositoryApp | The installed RepositoryApp this update row is for. |
| app | boolean | True if this row is for an app, as opposed to a theme or a library. |
| curBranch | Branch | The version branch currently installed for this app, or null if the app has never been installed here. |
| curVer | String | The version currently in use, or null if the app has never been installed here. |
| curVerDate | Date | When the version currently in use was applied to this account, ie when its version branch was pulled in from the marketplace. This is deliberately not the date that version was published: the published date of an older version is only available from the marketplace with a lookup per app per version, which is far too slow to do while rendering a page, and "when did you last update this app" is also the more useful figure for the user. Falls back to the head commit's date because Branch.createdDate is only populated by Branch.copy - the paths that create an app version branch on install leave it null and set the date on the head commit instead, so for app version branches that commit is the only record of when the version landed here. |
| pubDate | Date | When the marketplace published the version named by pubVer. For a row with an update available that is how long the update has been sitting there unapplied; for an up-to-date row pubVer is the version in use, so it is that version's real release date. Null when the marketplace did not supply a date. |
| pubVer | String | The name of the version the marketplace currently publishes for this app, or null if the marketplace has no published version. |
| title | String | The app's display title, resolved for the organisation and version branch this row was built for. |
| type | String | One of "app", "theme" or "lib". The headline of the updates panel counts apps separately from libs and themes, because apps are what the user recognises. |
| updateAvailable | boolean | False for a row which is already on the currently published version. getAllAppVersions returns those too, so the panel can list what is installed when there is nothing to update; getUpdates returns only the rows where this is true. |
