A favicon is a small 16x16 pixel icon that can be displayed next to things that identify your website, e.g. bookmarks, tabs, history results and search bars.

1 To add a favicon to your Kademi site, you will first need to create a favicon.
Your favicon file name needs to be favicon.ico
You can use a favicon generator to create the correct file, e.g. https://favicon.io/
Once your favicon has been generated, it can be uploaded in Kademi.
2 Go to File manager, and click on the website you are adding the favicon to.
3 Click Upload to add your favicon.
The favicon needs to be uploaded in the root, so don't click into any folders.
4 Select your favicon.ico file, and upload it.
5 Once the favicon is uploaded, it will be displayed in the repository.
6 View your site to see the updated favicon.
You may need to do a hard refresh of the page for the favicon to appear (Ctrl + F5).
