NOTE: This feature will be available in release MS-0288, expected end of October 2026
The export wizard sets up an export that sends data from Kademi to another system as a CSV file - by SFTP, FTP, HTTP or email - once, or automatically every day, week or month. You can export an index query, a data table or a query table, and see a preview of the data before you choose.
Before you start
Decide what to export. The wizard offers three kinds of data:
- Index query: a saved search of Kademi's indexes. Quick, and good for most reporting. See Query.
- Data table: a list of records read straight from the database, with the columns, date range, filters and sort you choose. The best choice when the other system needs every record. See Data tables.
- Query table: a ready-made table provided by a Kademi app, such as expiring points or partner lists.
Have the details of the system you are sending to ready: for SFTP, the server address, folder, and a username with a password or private key.
Starting an export
Go to Data & reports > Data processing and click the Integration runs card, or type integration in the menu search. Choose the website and version at the top right, then open the Endpoints tab.
If the page says integration services is not enabled on the website, click Enable integration services first.
Step 1: General
Give the export a name you will recognise in the list of endpoints and in the integration history, such as Weekly new members to CRM.
Step 2: Query
- Search narrows the list by name or type.
- Click a row to choose it. The row is highlighted, and its preview appears on the right. Click its title instead to open the query or table in a new tab, if you want to check or change it.
- The tag on each row says what it is: Index query, Data table or Query table.
- The preview shows the first rows, using the date range chosen at the top of the admin. Each run of the export uses its own date range (see below), so the rows a run sends can differ from the preview.
- When you have the right one, click Next. Choosing a row does not move you on, so you can preview as many as you like.
Which records each run sends
Each run of an export knows when the previous run ended, and passes that period to the data:
- An index query that follows the selected date range sends the records since the previous run.
- A data table does the same when its date range is set to The selected date range. With Yesterday, Last week and so on, it sends that period whenever it runs. With no date range, it sends every record each time.
- A query table behaves as its app defines: many follow the selected date range, some always send everything.
The very first run has no previous run to start from, so a source that follows the selected date range sends little or nothing then. Every run after that picks up where the last one finished.
Step 3: Destination
- Address: the server's address only, such as
sftp.example.com, withoutsftp://or a folder. - Path: the folder on the server, such as
/incoming/kademi. - File Name: the name of the CSV file to write.
- Username for the server.
- Login Type: a Password, or a Private Key (paste the RSA key in PEM format).
For FTP you can also choose SSL or TLS security. For HTTP you give the address to send the file to, and for email the recipients, subject and attachment name.
Step 4: Notifications
Optionally, tick Enable notifications to email a summary of each run to the addresses you list. Tick Only send the email when the run recorded failures to hear about problems only.
Step 5: Schedule
For example, 1 WEEKS starting on a Monday at 06:00 runs every Monday at 06:00. Leave Add Schedule unticked to run the export only when you click Run; you can add a schedule later on the Schedules tab.
Step 6: Review & create
After creating the export
- The export appears on the Endpoints tab. Click Run to send it straight away, which is a good way to test it.
- Each run is listed on the Integration history tab, with its result and any errors.
- To change which query or table an export uses, open it from the Endpoints tab and edit its Query Export step. The same choice of index queries, data tables and query tables is offered there.
