KPartnerAssistant is an AI assistant that can be trained to answer questions based on website content. In this blog post, we will quickly go over how to set it up.
Getting started with KPartnerAssistant
Opting in
In order to use any AI features in Kademi, you'll need to opt in to AI features, if you've already opted in you can skip this step. In the Kademi admin, there should be a modal that pops up that explains our AI features. Click the Yes, opt-in and then Save.
If the modal does not appear for you, then click on the Copilot button on the upper right corner. Next click the cog icon in the upper right corner and then on Kademi Copilot Opt-in to access the modal to opt in.
Installing KPartnerAssistant
Next, you'll need to install KPartnerAssistant in your account. In the left sidebar, navigate to Website Manager and then Marketplace. In the marketplace page, look for the KPartnerAssistant app, click on it's app page and then click install.
Once you've installed KPartnerAssistant you'll need to toggle it on for your website. Go to your website's website manager, go to the apps tab and then toggle on KPartnerAssistant.
Setting up KPartnerAssistant
Now you'll need to set up KPartnerAssistant and train it on content from your website. On the left side bar, navigate to Content and then Partner Assistant. On the website selection screen, click on the website that has KPartnerAssistant enabled.
On this screen, there are several settings for UI which you can adjust as you like. Once you've finished adjusting settings and have clicked Save, you'll want to click on the Reindex content button. This will start a background job that may take several minutes to complete. Once that has completed, you will have succesfully set up KPartnerAssistant. Note that you will need to run this process again if you add new content to your website and you want the AI to be able to answer questions based on that.
KPartnerAssistant should now be ready to use. On your website, an icon should now appear on all pages. By clicking on that icon, you can bring up the Partner Assistant sidebar where users can chat and ask questions to the AI assistant.
