Resetting point allocations

If the points awarded to participants based on their sales records are incorrect, you can reset the point allocations, which removes all points awarded for those sales records and marks the records as not processed. You can then fix the point allocation, and run the allocation process again.

In the below example, point allocations have been processed, and the test participant has a balance of 600 points.

1 To reset the point allocations, go to Data, then Data series, select the relevant data series, and on the Points tab click through to the point allocation source that the incorrect points were awarded from.
2 From the point allocation source page, click through to Allocations.
3 Select the point allocations to remove, then click the Delete/Reset icon.
4 Click Reset to confirm.

You can also select for the matching sales records to be deleted.

5 On the test user's profile page, view the Points tab and you'll see the points record has been removed.

You may need to refresh the points balance by clicking Refresh balance.

6 Once the balance has been refreshed, the points will reflect the removal of the point allocations.

You can then fix the point allocation source, and run the point allocation process again to award the correct points.

If you need to refresh the point balances in bulk, go to Products & Stores, then Reward Points, and click the Tools dropdown, then Refresh Points Balance.
