Editing Content

There are a number of reasons you may need to change the logo in the menu of a Kademi site, including rebranding, updating a Kademi solution template, and more.

To update the logo, follow the steps below.

1 Go to Content, then Edit web pages.

If you are editing a live site, you will need to create a new version of the site to make the changes in.

2 Click on the versions drop down, then click the copy icon next to the currently live site version.

3 Enter a name for the new site version, then click Copy.

4 Select the new site version from the versions drop down.

The logo forms part of the menu, which can be edited in the Default Theme Template.

5 Click on defaultThemeTemplate under the list of templates to open KEditor.

6 Open the settings for the menu component.

7 Click Change Logo.

8 Select the Assets tab, then click the Upload icon.

9 Find and select the updated logo, then click OK.

10 If required, the logo settings can be configured, including the page the logo is linked to, the spacing around the logo, and the height of the logo, which should not exceed 50 pixels high.

11 Save and close KEditor.

12 View the new version of the site as a test user to confirm the updated logo displays as expected.

13 Once you are happy with the changes, click Publish.

14 Click Publish now to confirm.
